About me
"Tell me a story," 8 year old me would often "greet" a new person. I didn't know it at the time, or for the next 15 years, but I found my passion through relating to those stories and making a few that I could tell for myself.
As a native of Southern California, I was raised in the shadow of Hollywood, touched by its perceived glitz and glamour. It wasn't until my second stint in college, when I took my first art class that sparked that dim light within me. Acting and writing reignited that need to tell a story.
Since then, I've been in several short grad films, web series, plays, and improv shows. I've completed a two year Meisner course with Don Bloomfield, a student of Stanford Meisner, and am in his Master Class. I have also taken various On Camera workshops.
As a writer, I've studied screenwriting with Michael Barlow at UCLA extensions. I've written a few pilots and am currently writing a piece based on growing up in my hometown, straddling the different subcultures of the early 2000's. I also wrote and managed a couple travel blogs.
Stories have brought me closer to my core and have helped me relate to the world around me. I'm excited to continue sharing these passions.
